Jakob Manz Altsaxophon Nils Kugelmann Kontrabass Erik Konertz Posaune Karthik Mani Ghatam-Trommel, Schlagwerk, Konnakol Bhumika L. Madhusudan Gesang, Konnakol S. Janardhan Indische Violine Das sechsköpfige Ensemble bringt Musiker:innen aus dem Umfeld des jungen deutschen Ausnahme-Altsaxophonisten Jakob Manz und des südindischen (Vokal-)Perkussionisten Karthik Mani zusammen. Zugleich versteht sich das Projekt als Hommage an die Zusammenarbeit der Sängerin und Komponistin R.A. Ramamani -- der Mutter von Karthik Mani?--?und des Altsaxophonisten Charlie Mariano in den 1980er Jahren. Ihr musikalischer Austausch wird hier von einer neuen Generation aufgegriffen und mit neuen Impulsen weitergeführt. Please book wheelchair and companion tickets by calling 030 - 84108909.
