The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz is South Africa's premier jazz festival. We have been entertaining Nations for more than 20 years. The 2026 Standard Bank Joy of Jazz marks the 27th edition of a leading brand on South Africa jazz calendar. To celebrate the auspicious event, a legion of international giants and luminaries of the jazz world, as well as leading lights of South African jazz will descend on Johannesburg to celebrate the momentous event. Contributing to Social Cohesion, Economic Growth and Cultural Tourism. The event takes place in Johannesburg, Africa's greatest city, a bold and pulsating metropolis. The people work hard and play hard and they immerse themselves in the finest music at the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz.
